This time last year the Piedmont Triad area was in the midst of thawing out from a record-breaking snowstorm that paralyzed commuting routes for residents and halted brick-and-mortar holiday shopping for days. Interestingly enough the snow the area received for this area occurred before the official start of Winter and it turned out to be the only measurable amount of snow for the 2019-2020 winter season.
